On Aug. 20, 1813, the court ordered the sheriff to arrest Thomas Hankins and hold him safely until the September to satisfy the Commonwealth of the sum of $1.87 recovered in Court against him for prosecuting a summons against him for failing to give in his list of tangible property in 1811.

Thomas Herndon, county surveyor, filed a claim for Elisha Garrett with the County Court for $8. The claim was for four days work performed by Garrett, with his team of horses and wagon, on the road from Hendrensville to John W. Berry’s hill.
