Thanks to the Henry County Local for reporting on a very important issue pertaining to our county politics in last week’s paper. As reported, it appears the momentum of the 2010 election has started and many Henry County residents and Kentucky state representatives have taken an interest in the future of Henry County and it’s political status. Last meeting, Secretary of State, Trey Grayson provided information and direction at the last Henry County Republican monthly meeting. This meeting served as an initial rally to inform residents that positive change will be supported by county and state constituents.
The meeting’s intent is to make sure our views and ideas are represented in county government. Our local fiscal court has always been represented by a one party system and change is encouraged to maximize the available resources available to the county. Henry County must be represented by all groups and concerned citizens to resource the contacts of a political atmosphere.
I encourage all concerned county residents and all those who would like to get involved, to take responsibility of all opportunities available. It is your right to join a process allowing Henry County to take advantage of the betterment of our community.
