Adelyn Marie O’Nan, age 77 of Lexington, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. She was born in Sturgis, on Sept. 26, 1935, to the late William Sylvester 0’Nan and Marie Martin O’nan.
Adelyn was active in many fields throughout her life but her best accomplishment was her family. She was a great companion, a trusting friend, a loving mother and an extraordinary grandmother who loved her family more than anything. Her great smile and positive attitude made her a good sales person. She sold everything from metal buildings, real estate and commercial insurance. No job was ever too big. She has always been and always will be a positive influence to all those in her life. She was the easiest person to love.
She is survived by the love of her life Russell Davis, Lexington; three children: Linda Edelstein Parker, (Bruce), Lexington; Paula Edelstein McGlothin, (Mark), Shelbyville; and David Ronald Edelstein, (Holly), Lexington; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Adelyn (Addie) was on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Addie’s at the Woodford Inn located at 140 Park Street, Versailles, from 2-5 p.m. All family and friends were invited to celebrate the life of this wonderful lady.
