Several media students from Henry County High School attended the annual Kentucky High School Journalism Association state convention on May 6 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Louisville. HCHS won 13 awards, including six first place awards in multiple categories.
About 80 students are involved in media classes at HCHS. The students submitted roughly 50 entries this year in the AA category. Category placement is determined by school enrollment, according to Steve Galyon, media teacher.
