On May 9, Lauren Karel Boyer graduated with distinction from Indiana University Southeast. Lauren earned her B.A. in Psychology during her three years at IUS. While at IUS, Lauren was a member of the Honor’s Program, the Psychology Club, and Lodge Council President and Vice President. She made the Dean’s List and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology.
Lauren will continue her studies beginning in August 2011 at Spalding University, where she has been accepted into the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis on Forensic Psychology.
Lauren is a 2008 graduate of South Oldham High School, and is the daughter of Terry & Lisa Boyer, Crestwood, the granddaughter of Barbara Boyer of Turners Station, and the great-granddaughter of Elsie Newkirk, of New Castle.
