Real estate property taxes in Eminence could increase soon, though the impact on homeowners is expected to be minimal.
During last week’s Eminence City Council meeting, City Clerk Sandra Doane recommended the rate recommended by the state is 29.9 cents per $100 assessed value, a 0.1-percentage point increase. That change, Doane told the council, equates to $10 more per year for a $100,000 home, or an increase of 83-cents per month.
