Candace-less Lady Warriors take loss

While Candace Wells was on the sideline with a season-ending injury, the Lady Warriors took a 50-13 loss against the visiting Carroll County Lady Panthers last Friday night.

Wells suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Louisville Collegiate loss a week before, which revealed a previous break that had not healed properly. The break — not the sprain — is what sidelined her for the rest of the season, Eminence coach Carter Martin said.
