A cause worth your money

-A A +A

Are you sick of those annoying phone calls from telemarketers? Do you struggle as I do when deciding which cause should receive your hard-earned cash? How many checks do you write each year to help worthy causes? Do you really know where the money goes?

Have I got a deal for you!  The 21st annual Eminence Education Foundation dinner and silent auction will be Feb. 9, at the high school gym.  For a mere $20 you will receive a wonderful meal catered by Linda Aldridge from the All The Way Shoppe, and, as amazing as that sounds, the same $20 offers you the opportunity to bid on an amazing array of objects, trips, gift cards — the list goes on!

How is this possible? It’s thanks to the generous donations made by area businesses and individuals. You just never know what you can find to bid on in our silent auction. Plus, because the Eminence Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization, all proceeds from the dinner and auction go directly to fund Eminence Independent School system scholarships and grants.

Many of those who attend the dinner each year are Eminence alumni, but that’s not a requirement. Everyone’s welcome! So please consider joining us for a night of good food, fun, and fellowship. You’ll feel good about furthering our goal of Eminence excellence! Not to mention that treasure your successful bids allowing you to bring home.

For tickets or information please contact Buddy Berry, Superintendent of the Eminence Independent Schools at (502) 845-5427 ext 4031.
