President Abraham Lincoln wrote in part of his Thanksgiving Proclamation “…I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.”
Tomorrow families will sit down to give thanks and celebrate Thanksgiving. However, not everyone can get home for a Norman Rockwell style Thanksgiving. For that reason Harvest Community Church would like to invite you to be a part of our family. We, at Harvest would like to unite the community this holiday season. This dinner is open to all who would like to join us.
We will be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow at the Eminence Community Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, from turkey to cranberries and everything in between, at no charge. Please do not sit at home, come be a part of our family as we give thanks.
If you are unable to get out please call Harvest Community Church at 845-2233 and we will be glad to deliver dinner to you.
We hope to see you tomorrow.
May God bless you.
