Wednesday, April 16

Girls in Action (GAs) of Cropper Baptist Church meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to girls through age 12.

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children's Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Community Library open to the public from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

CASA night with Hometown Pizza between 5 and 8 p.m. Twenty percent of the total bill will be donated to CASA of Henry, Oldham and Trimble Counties at the following locations: Crestwood, LaGrange, Bedford and Eminence. Contact (502) 225-4424 for more information.

Thursday, April 17

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, April 18

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, April 20 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, April 22 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Friday at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Church.

The annual Judy Lea Memorial Benefit will be held at the Henry County Middle School beginning at 6 p.m.. It will consist of an all you can eat buffet meal prepared by Henry County Food Service featuring ham, lemon pepper chicken and lots of goodies including homemade pies and yeast rolls. Saturday, April 19

A Community Health Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Community Life Center in Eminence.

The Garry Polston Family will have a live recording gospel concert at Clayvillage Baptist Church beginning at 5 p.m. Also performing will be Denise Watts-Wilson.

Goat Field Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McElroy Akers Farm, Milton. Lunch will be provided by the North Central KY Goat Producers Association so please call to make a reservation at (502) 268-9321 or for more information.

Smithfield Baptist Church will host a "Spring Spiritual Renewal" with Dr. Larry Baker at 6 p.m. There will also be service Sunday, April 20 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with an ice cream social after evening service.

Good food and good music for a good cause- fundraiser for Tommie Tingle at Providence Baptist Church. Meal from 5 to 7 p.m., concert by Unfinished at 7 p.m. Donations will be taken for the meals and a love offering taken at the concert. All proceeds will go to benefit Tommie Tingle and his family to aid in medical expenses from his battle with lymphoma.

The Campbellsburg Woman's Club will meet at 1 p.m. at the home of Malissa Beatty. Please let the hostess know if you can not attend.

Country Faith Reunion at Franklinton Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Love offering will be accepted for FBC Church Building Fund.

Sunday, April 20

There will be a benfit concert for the American Heart Association and Neurofibromatosis, Inc. at 3 p.m. in the Eminence Independent School gym. Performances by the Eminence Band and select members of the Henry County Band, other entertainment and inspiring speakers. Admission is free however donations will be accepted.

Monday, April 21

A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting will be held on Mondays at 11 a.m. beginning March at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Tuesday, April 22

The Alateen "Together We Can Make It" group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Adult Education and GED classes offered at the Wendy Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 845-0307.

The KY Cowboy Church will be holding Bible study every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

Friday, April 25

CASA Fish Fry with the Kiwanis Club between 5 and 8 p.m. at the Kiwanis Building at the Oldham County Fairgrounds. Adults $10 (all you can eat), children $5 (all you can eat). Homemade desserts and live auction! Call (502) 225-4424 for more information.

Saturday, April 26
