Wednesday, April 2

Girls in Action (GAs) of Cropper Baptist Church meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to girls through age 12.

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children's Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Community Library open to the public from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

HCMS Site-Based District meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the HCMS conference room.

Eastern Elementary Site-Based Council meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the school library.

Thursday, April 3

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, April 4

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, April 8 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Friday at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Church.

The Henry County Farmers Market will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Extension Office. Contact Barbara Gregory at (502) 947-5469 or the Extension Office at (502) 845-2811.

Saturday, April 5

Smithfield school reunion to be held at 11 a.m. at the Smithfield Baptist Church. Meal cost is $10. Please have money in by April 2. Submit monies to Wanda Thurman, 131 Allen Street, New Castle, KY 40050.

Monday, April 7

A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting will be held on Mondays at 11 a.m. beginning March at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Tuesday, April 8

The Alateen "Together We Can Make It" group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Adult Education and GED classes offered at the Wendy Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 845-0307.

The KY Cowboy Church will be holding Bible study every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

The North Central KY Goat Producers will be meeting at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Extension Office. Ray Smith Jr., Assoc. Professor, Forage Extension Specialist for Plant and Soil Sciences at UK will cover poisonous plants found in the pasture. Saturday, April 12

Eminence Elementary STLP will be holding a car wash/bake sale to help raise money for state finals. The car wash will be held at Browning's in Eminence beginning at 11 a.m.

Sunday, April 13

The Grief Support Group for people dealing with the loss of a loved one or close friend will meet at 3 p.m. at the Henry Christian Church. The group meets the second Sunday of each month.

Monday, April 14

The Henry County Band Booster monthly meeting will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the commons area of the Henry County Middle School. Please enter through the outside band room door.

Saturday, April 19

A Community Health Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Community Life Center in Eminence.

The Garry Polston Family will have a live recording gospel concert at Clayvillage Baptist Church beginning at 5 p.m. Also performing will be Denise Watts-Wilson.

Goat Field Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McElroy Akers Farm, Milton. Lunch will be provided by the North Central KY Goat Producers Association so please call to make a reservation at (502) 268-9321 or for more information.
