Wednesday, April 7

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.

Eastern Elementary SBDM Council will meet at 4 p.m. in the school library.

Thursday, April 8

Free adult scrapbooking offered at the Eminence Community Life Center from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursdays.

Friday, April 9

Alcoholics Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, April 13 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Saturday, April 10

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

The Henry County Band will be holding a pancake breakfast at Applebees ( all you can eat and drink) in LaGrange from 8 a.m to 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.

“Let’s Fight This Together” benefit dance will be held from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Steel Tech Shooting Range Building. Doors open at 7 p.m. and Leo and The Moonlighters will be performing. Admission is $5. Door prizes, raffles and auctions! All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

Sunday, April 11

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

Monday, April 12

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The County Kickers Line Dancing Group will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays at the 4-H building at the Henry County Fairgrounds in New Castle. The group will be going back to the basics on Thursday evenings where you can join them for step by step instructions from 6 to 7 p.m. for beginner line dancing and advanced from 7 to 8 p.m. For more information contact Darlene Tipton at (502) 947-5160 or (502) 750-0954.

Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Smithfield, will have a spring revival with Bro. Billy Mitchell through April 14 at 7 p.m. nightly. The Superintendent Screening Committee for the Eminence Independent Schools will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Eminence Independent Board of Education.

Tuesday, April 13

Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.

Retired Teachers of Henry County will meet at the HC Library at 1:30 p.m.

Red Cross blood drive will be held at New Castle Christian Church from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Campbellsburg Christian Business Association will meet at Campbellsburg City Hall at 4:30 p.m.

ABC will meet at 7 p.m. in the HCHS library. During the meeting elections for SBDM parents for the 2010-2011 school year will be held.  If you are interested in running please contact Robin McCoy at robin.mccoy@henry.kyschools.us to be on the ballot.

Wednesday, April 14

The SBDM meeting at Henry County Middle School will be held in the conference room at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 15

CASA volunteers meeting will be held at the LaGrange library beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Eminence board members and the Superintendent Screening Committee for Eminence Independent Schools will meet at 6 p.m. at the Eminence Independent Board of Education.
