Wednesday, August 27

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Thursday, August 28

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, August 29

Alcoholic’s Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, August 31 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, September 2 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Friday at 7 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

Saturday, August 30

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Fundraising yard sale, bake sale and raffles at 63 Pendleton Loop for Campbellsburg Fire and Rescue. 8 a.m. to late afternoon.

Sunday, August 31

Evening services will now be offered at First Presbyterian Church in Eminence. Dress Casual for worship from 6 to 7 p.m.

Monday, September 1

A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting will be held on Mondays at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Raisor Family Reunion will be held at Harry Hill Park at the 4H center. Lunch to be served between 12 and 1 p.m. Please bring a dish.

Tuesday, September 2

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Adult Education and GED classes offered at the Wendy Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 845-0307.

The KY Cowboy Church will be holding Bible study every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at New Castle Christian Church, 260 S. Main Street, New Castle.

HCMS Site Based District Meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the HCMS conference room.

The Henry County High School SBDM council will meet at 6 p.m. at the Henry County High School.

The grief support group for people dealing with the loss of a loved one or close friend will meet at 3 p.m. at Henry Christian Church. The group meets the 2nd Sunday of each month.
