Wednesday, December 10

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Thursday, December 11

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, December 12

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Henry County Public Library and at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Saturday, December 13

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

A clothing donation drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Eminence School parking lot. All donated items will go to Goodwill in Shelbyville. For more information, please contact Brandon Couch at (502) 706-0061 or (502) 338-5032.

Support the Henry County Band at the Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser in LaGrange from 8 to 10 a.m. All the flapjacks you can eat and a beverage for $5.

Breakfast with Santa at the Henry County Middle School from 8:30 to 11 a.m. $4 per person for pancake breakfast, picture with Santa, magic show and door prizes! Sponsored by Henry County Family Resource Center and Youth Services Center.

Sunday, December 14

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

The grief support group for people dealing with the loss of a loved one or close friend will meet at 3 p.m. at the Henry Christian Church. The group meets the second Sunday of each month.

New Castle United Methodist Church presents a Christmas musical celebrating “The Name … Jesus” at 6:30 p.m. For more information call (502) 845-2781. Child care will be provided.

Monday, December 15

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Tuesday, December 16

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

The Henry County Middle and High School band will perform at the annual holiday concert. Performance time is 7 p.m. in the HCMS commons area. Admission is free. Anyone who ordered fruit from the band may also pick it up.

Tuesday, December 16
