Wednesday, February 18

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Thursday, February 19

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome. Open house will begin at 5 p.m. following meeting.

The New Hope Biker Church meets at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the 4H building at the Henry County Fairgrounds. For more information call Pastor Vern Hawkins at 834-0307 or 718-1187 or e-mail at vern402@insightbb.com.

There will be a service provider meeting at 10 a.m. at Tri-County Community Action Agency.

Friday, February 20

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

A special hymn sing and song service will be held at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

Saturday, February 21

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

MS Support Group meeting at Pleasureville Christian Church will meet at 2 p.m. Please call (502) 878-4976 for more information. The group meets the third Saturday of every month.

Campbellsburg Woman’s Club will meet at Campbellsburg City Hall with Karen  Beverly as hostess. Please let hostess know if you can not attend.

On Saturday, February 21 a benefit concert will be held at the 4H building at the Henry County Fairgrounds beginning at 7 p.m featuring live entertainment and performances by Andrea Davidson of Shelbyville and local artists Bluesneck and Robbie Cox. The cost is $5 per person with all proceeds going  to Andrea Davidson and will be for her trip to South Africa this coming summer where she will teach English and music to underprivileged children of South Africa.  For more information contact Brian Shuck at (502) 750-1116.

Monday, February 23

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Relay For Life Kick Off will be held at the 4H Building at Henry County Fairgrounds at 7 p.m. featuring special guest speaker, Byron Crawford. Team registration, prizes, information and more!

Tuesday, February 24

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Saturday, February 28

A dance to benefit the American Cancer Society will be held at the Community Center in Eminence from 7 to 11 p.m. featuring Leo and The Moonlighters. Admission is $5 per person and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. There will be concessions and a silent auction.
