Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.

Eat Right When Money’s Tight is a workshop that presents options for budgeting your money while feeding a family. It will offer ways to make your dollars stretch. The Henry County and Eminence Family Resource/Youth Services Center are sponsoring this parent workshop a the Henry County Library  from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 17

Free adult scrapbooking offered at the Eminence Community Life Center from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursdays.

Tri-County Community Action Agency’s Board of Directors will meet. The meeting will be held at the Campbellsburg State Police Post meeting room located at 160 Citation Lane just off the I-71 exit in Campbellsburg.  The public is invited to attend.

Friday, June 18

Alcoholics Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, June 19 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, June 22 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

An orientation meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Henry County Library for those interested persons who want to learn more about what it takes to be a foster/adoptive parent. Applicants can be single or married and be at least 21 years of age.  Calling ahead to register at (502) 633-2055.

Silly Safaris Live Animal Show featuring funologist Alligator Aaron will be held at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Henry County Public Library. All ages are welcome.

Saturday, June 19

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Monday, June 21

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The County Kickers Line Dancing Group meets every Monday and Thursday at the Henry County Fairgrounds 4H Building in New Castle. Lessons are held both nights for beginners from 6 to 7 p.m. Advanced lessons follow from 7 to 8 p.m. There is a fee of $20 per year.
