Wednesday, June 17

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Thursday, June 18

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, June 19

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, June 23 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Henry County Farmers Market will be at Brownings Pontiac in Eminence on Fridays from noon to 5 p.m.

Five percent of all proceeds at Chat-N-Nibble restaurant will go towards the Eminence Christian Church Relay For Life team.

Saturday, June 20

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

The M.S. Support Group meeting will be held at Pleasureville Christian Church at 2 p.m. Please call (502) 878-4976 for more information.

Circle of Friends, Relay for Life Team will have a tractor ride in Drennon. For more information contact Tammy Bibelhauser.

Sunday, June 21

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

Regular services will be held at Grubridge Community Church at 2:30 p.m.

Hopewell Baptist Church will have regular services every Sunday at 11 a.m.

Monday, June 22

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church.

Thursday, June 25

Shelby Energy Cooperative annual membership meeting will be held at Henry County High School. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., business meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed by entertainment from the Garry Polston Family. Energy efficiency information, free health fair and food prepared by the Eminence Rotary Club.

Friday, June 26

Henry County’s Relay For Life event will be held at the Henry County High School Track with opening ceremonies beginning at 7 p.m. Come out and enjoy entertainment, food, games and more in an effort to fight back against cancer. Event will end at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 27.
