Wednesday, June 25

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Community Library open to the public from 1 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

Thursday, June 26

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Shelby Energy Cooperative will hold its 71st annual meeting at Bedford Elementary. Registration opens at 4:30 p.m. and business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Local gospel groupe, The Infinite Realm will entertain. Everyone is welcome.

Donate blood from 3 to 7 p.m. at New Castle Christian Church, located at 260 S. Main Street, New Castle.

Friday, June 27

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, June 29 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, July 1 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Friday at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Church.

Saturday, June 28

Sunday, June 29

Rev. Carl Rucker will be the morning speaker (services begin at 10:45 a.m.) at Eminence Christian Church to observe the 5th anniversary celebration of Pastor Sharon Fields. A reception for the pastor will be held in the fellowship hall from 2 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to worship and/or attend the reception.

New Castle Christian Church will have a reception honoring Youth Minister Matt Wright from 4 to 6 p.m. He is leaving for a new position at another church.

Cropper Baptist Church Choir will present an Independence Day cantata during worship followed by fellowship meal in the CLC Building.

Monday, June 30

A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting will be held on Mondays at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Tuesday, July 1

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Adult Education and GED classes offered at the Wendy Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 845-0307.

The KY Cowboy Church will be holding Bible study every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

CASA Advisory Council Meeting will be from June 24 at 5 p.m. at the Oldham County Courthouse in LaGrange.
