Wednesday, June 3

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Eastern Elementary SBDM council will meet at 4 p.m. in the school library.

The HCMS Site Based Council meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the middle school conference room.

Thursday, June 4

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, June 5

Alcoholic’s Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, June 7 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Henry County Farmers Market will be at Brownings Pontiac in Eminence on Fridays from noon to 5 p.m.

Saturday, June 6

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Yoga workshop at the Eminence Community Life center from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Call (502) 845-2135 to RSVP. Classes will also be held on June 13 and 27th.  Instructor will be Cathy Willhite.

The Campbellsburg Women’s Club Southern Picnic and Auction will be held at The Grange, 9191 Hwy 55 North beginning at noon. Auction will begin at 1:15 p.m.. Box lunches are prepared by Women’s Club members and includes all the wine and/or special Porch Sippin Tea you want. Campbellsburg Day Cornhole Tournament will be held in the parking lot of Campbellsburg Chiropractic and Cook’s Pharmacy. Registration begins at 9 a.m., tournament starts at 11:30 a.m. There will also be a parade, live music, Backyard Bounce, food and drinks and more! Franklinton Baptist Church is having a Relay For Life lunch immediately following worship services. The meal will include grilled chicken/pulled pork bbq, slaw, baked beans, dessert and drink. Adults $7 and children under 10 are $3.50.

Hopewell Baptist Church will be having service at 11 a.m. with Bryan Thompson officiating.

Monday, June 8

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church.

Henry County High School SBDM council will meet at 6 p.m. at Henry County High School.

The North Central KY Goat Producers Association will meet at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Extension Office. Curt Mason, District Conservationist will discuss state and federal cost share programs. The Historical Society will have its June meeting at 7 p.m. at the Henry County Extension office. The meeting is open to all who would like to participate in an old fashioned ice cream social and learn about the history of Drennon Springs from local historian, Linda Roberts.
