Wednesday, March 17

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.

The Henry County Middle School SBDM Council will meet in the conference room at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 18

Free adult scrapbooking offered at the Eminence Community Life Center from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursdays.

Friday, March 19

Alcoholics Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, March 23 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Saturday, March 20

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Bunco for Relay For Life at the Henry County 4H Center from 5 to 8 p.m. $15 per person with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Contact Connie Singleton at (502) 743-1058 or Sandi Hayden at (502) 220-0391 for more information.

The KY Highland Renaissance Festival is holding auditions for its 2010 cast. Auditions will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Faire site. The Cropper Ruritan Club will hold a Pork Chop Supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the firehouse in cropper. Meal includes pork chop, potato wedges, slaw, green beans, dessert and drink.

The Campbellsburg Woman’s Club will hold a pitch in luncheon at 12:30 P.M. at the home of Darlene Taylor. There will be a guest speaker from Berea. Please lest your hostess know if you can not attend.

The Henry County Historical Society invites you to the program “Roles of African Americans in Thoroughbred Racing to be held at 10:30 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church fellowship hall. Light refreshments will be served.

Sunday, March 21

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

Grubridge Community Church will have regular services at 2:30 p.m.

Monday, March 22

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The County Kickers Line Dancing Group will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays at the 4-H building at the Henry County Fairgrounds in New Castle. The group will be going back to the basics on Thursday evenings where you can join them for step by step instructions from 6 to 7 p.m. for beginner line dancing and advanced from 7 to 8 p.m. For more information contact Darlene Tipton at (502) 947-5160 or (502) 750-0954.

Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.
