Wednesday, May 12

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.

Eastern Elementary SBDM council will meet at 4 p.m. in the school library.

Thursday, May 13

Free adult scrapbooking offered at the Eminence Community Life Center from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursdays.

Friday, May 14

Alcoholics Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, May 11 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Eminence Elementary School is hosting another registration day for the preschool and kindergarten classes of 2010-2011 from 9 a.m.-1p.m.

Saturday, May 15

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Sunday, May 16

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

Grubridge Community Church will hold regular services at 2:30 p.m.

Monday, May 17

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The County Kickers Line Dancing Group meets every Monday and Thursday at the Henry County Fairgrounds 4H Building in New Castle. Lessons are held both nights for beginners from 6 to 7 p.m. Advanced lessons follow from 7 to 8 p.m. There is a fee of $20 per year. Tuesday, May 18

Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.

The Eminence Board of Education will hold their monthly board meeting in the school library at 7 pm.

Henry County Community Baby Shower will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Castle Christian Church.

Friday May 21

There will be an introductory meeting of the Henry County Parkinson Support Group from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Henry County Fairgrounds 4-H building. A representative of the Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana will offer insights and invite open discussion. For more information call Joy Hay at 502-396-4826.

Saturday, May 22

Monday, May 24

Eminence Middle and High School SBDM meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the school school library.

Tuesday, May 25

The Henry County Family Resource and Youth Services Centers  (FRYSC) will be holding their Advisory Council meeting at 11:30 a.m. at the Henry County Extension office. The public is welcome to attend. Please call 845-0334 or 845-8608 to reserve your spot.
