Wednesday, May 13

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Angel Food Ministries will be taking orders at New Castle Christian Church from 9 a.m. til noon.

Henry County Care Team’s monthly coalition meeting will be held at noon at the Henry County Public Library. Please RSVP for lunch to (502) 878-0001.

Thursday, May 14

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, May 15

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, May 17 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, May 19 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Saturday, May 16

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

The North Central KY group and the Trimble County Extension Office will host a field day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Trimble County Extension Office in Bedford. Lunch will be provided. Relay Day will be held at Harry Hill Park beginning at 11 a.m.. Booth rental is $10 and must be set up by 10:30 a.m. Events scheduled for the day include Henry County’s Got Talent Competition, Poker Run (call Di Berry at (502) 845-7760 or 667-0044 for more information), car show, food, entertainment and much more! The second annual Henry County Spring Tractor Drive to benefit Relay For Life will be held beginning with registration at 10 a.m. The 22- mile drive begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Henry County Fairgrounds. For more information including requirement contact William Potts at (502) 220-0431.
