Wednesday, May 20


Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.


Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.


Thursday, May 21


TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.


Friday, May 22


Alcoholic’s Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, May 26 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.


A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.


Henry County Farmers Market will be at Browning Pontiac in Eminence Fridays from noon to 5 p.m.


Campbellsburg Chiropractic will have a pork chop dinner on Friday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes two sides and a dessert for $6. Call ahead for carry out orders at (502) 532-0099. All proceeds to benefit Relay For Life.


Saturday, May 23


AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.


Free Yoga workshop at the Eminence Community Life center from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Call (502) 845-2135 to RSVP. Classes will also be held on June 6, 13 and 27th.  Instructor will be Cathy Willhite.


The second annual Henry County Spring Tractor Drive to benefit Relay For Life will be held beginning with registration at 10 a.m. The 22- mile drive begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Henry County Fairgrounds. For more information including requirements contact William Potts at (502) 220-0431.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church.


CASA advisory committee meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Oldham County Library.

American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Henry County Library, 172 Eminence Terrace.
