Wednesday, November 18


Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.


Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.


The Henry County Family Resource and Youth  Services Center (FRYSC) will be holding their Advisory Council meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Henry County Library. Please call (502) 845-0334 or (502) 845-8608 to RSVP.


Thursday, November 19


TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.


New Castle’s annual Main Street meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the old locker building.


Friday, November 20


Alcoholic’s Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, November 22 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, November 24 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.


A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.


Saturday, November 21


AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.


Scouting for Food — Boy Scouts in Henry County will collect canned food Saturday, Nov. 21. You can leave your donation in a bag by your door, or just leave a can or box by the door. All donations stay in Henry County.


Sunday, November 22


The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.


Monday, November 23


Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.


The County Kickers Line Dancing Group will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays at the 4-H building at the Henry County Fairgrounds in New Castle. The group will be going back to the basics on Thursday evenings where you can join them for step by step instructions from 6 to 7 p.m. for beginner line dancing and advanced from 7 to 8 p.m. For more information contact Darlene Tipton at (502) 947-5160 or (502) 750-0954.

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church.


Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.


Wednesday, November 25


American Red Cross will have blood drive at the Henry County Library from 2 to 6 p.m.


Sunday, November 29


English Christian Church will have a “Hanging of the Greens” at 7 p.m. The “Greens” are hung from the ceiling and tells the story of Christ through music and candlelight.


Monday, November 30


Eminence middle and high school SBDM meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the school library.
