Wednesday, October 14

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.

The Henry County Middle School SBDM will meet in the conference room at 4 p.m.

Eastern Elementary SBDM council will meet at 4 p.m. in the school library.

The Tri-County Community Action Agency Office will be accepting applications for the Teddy Bear Tree anytime between now and October 30. Office hours are Mon-Friday 8:30 to 4:30, 125 Park Rd, New Castle.

Thursday, October 15

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.

Red Cross Blood drive will be held at the Henry County Public Library  from 2 to 6 p.m.

The CASA advisory council meeting will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Oldham County Farm Bureau building lower level.

The Campbellsburg Elementary School Site-Based Council will meet at 4 p.m. in the school library.

Friday, October 16

Alcoholics Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, October 18 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, October 13 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Saturday, October 17

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

MS Support Group meeting at Pleasureville Christian Church will be held at 2 p.m. Please call (502) 878-4796 for more information.

Campbellsburg  Woman’s Club will meet at 1 p.m. at the Campbellsburg City Hall with Pepper McKee as hostess.

Cropper Ruritan Fall Fish Fry will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the firehouse. Adult meal is $9 and child meal is $6. Hand breaded cod, baked beans, slaw, wedges, drink and dessert.

Sunday, October 18

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

Monday, October 19

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Learn Line Dancing from 7 to 8 p.m. at the 4-H Building at Henry County Fairgrounds (and also on Thursdays at the same time)$10 per year (one time fee). Great exercise and all ages welcome. For more information contact Darlene Tipton at (502) 947-5160 or (502) 750-0954.

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church.

Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.

Saturday, October 24
