Wednesday, Sept. 23

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Story Time at the Henry County Library at 10 a.m. for ages 2 to 5. For more information call (502) 845-5682.

Thursday, Sept. 24

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4 p.m. New members welcome.

Red Cross Blood drive will be held at the Henry County Public Library  from 2 to 6 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 25

Alcoholic’s Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, September 27 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, September 29 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Henry County Farmers Market will be at Brownings Pontiac in Eminence on Fridays from noon to 5 p.m.

Gospel sing at Grubridge Community Church at 7 p.m. featuring Russell Parrish, Shelby Yeary and Billy Bramblette.

Saturday, Sept. 26

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Henry County Saddle Club will have its monthly horse show at 5 p.m. at the Henry County Fairgrounds. For more information please call (502) 525-2574.

Sunday, Sept. 27

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Sunday at 6 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

The Beverly reunion will be held at the Lockport Methodist Church. Potluck lunch will start at noon. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Monday, Sept. 28

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting  at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church.

Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.

Saturday, Oct. 3

Defoe Christian Church will have a yard sale/bake sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 502-878-4874 for more information regarding booth rental.
