Wednesday, September 24

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Thursday, September 25

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Henry County Parent Support Group for parents with a child or youth with an emotional, social or behavioral diagnoses. Parents with Voices, will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Seven Counties Services, 73 East Main Street in Eminence. Childcare and dinner provided at no cost however reservations are suggested for enough food and childcare providers. American Red Cross will have a blood drive from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Eminence Speaker, 838 Mulberry Pike, Eminence.

Friday, September 26

Alcoholic’s Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, September 28 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, September 30 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Work out for St. Jude’s Research hospital to be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Life Center in Eminence. Donations welcome and appreciated for St. Jude’s Hospital. Call (502) 845-2135 for more information.

Kentucky Hunters Education Course will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, September 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Campbellsburg Methodist Church for ages 9 years old and up. Saturday, September 27

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Lockport Baptist Church Fall Festival will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Soup and sandwiches, inflatables, music, games, fellowship. Everyone welcome.

Pleasureville will hold a city wide yard sale in conjunction with a street dance beginning at 6 p.m. with live music by local band Bluesneck. Additionally on this day, the Pleasureville Colts youth football team will host a 3 on 3 basketball tournament(beginning at 9 a.m.) and fish fry beginning at noon. All proceeds of the tournament and fish fry go to Pleasureville Colts football team.

NCES PTO will have a 12-hour cropping session for Scrapbooks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Space is limited to 30 scrappers and you must RSVP to Brandy Neuman at (502) 845-0101. The $30 cost includes workspace, drinks, snacks, lunch and dinner.

Sunday, September 28

Evening services will now be offered at First Presbyterian Church in Eminence. Dress Casual for worship from 6 to 7 p.m.
