Wednesday, September 8

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church. Also, the community library at the church is open to the public.

The HCMS Site Base Meeting will be held in the middle school conference room at 4:30 p.m.

Afterschool Adventures at the Henry County public library from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Thursday, September 9

Free adult scrapbooking offered at the Eminence Community Life Center from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursdays.

The County Kickers Line Dancing group meets on Thursday nights at the Henry County Fairgrounds 4H Building in New Castle. Lessons are held for beginners from 6 to 7 p.m.  and advanced lessons follow from 7 to 8 p.m. There is a fee of $20 per year. Friday, September 10

Alcoholic’s Anonymous  meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. This group, along with Al-Anon, will also meet Sunday, September 12 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, September 14 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

Baby and Me at the Henry County Public Library at 10 a.m.

Saturday, September 11

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

The Clements Bottom day reunion will be held at the Clements family home. A picnic lunch will be held at noon. Everyone welcome.

Benefit for Margie Yeary will be held at Steel Tech Shooting Range from 4 p.m. to midnight. All proceeds go to finishing her log cabin home. Cost is $5 per person, concessions and raffles. Entertainment provided by Shane Dawson, Silver Wings Band and Almost Country.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meeting to be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Campbellsburg Baptist Church. Please enter through side door. Please call church with any questions at (502) 532-6026.

Luau/Pig Roast/Holy Karaoke Building FUNdraiser will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Point Pleasant Christian Church. The fundraiser is sponsored by the youth and everyone is welcome to attend. The event promises great food, fun and fellowship. Love offering accepted.

Henry County GOP Picnic will be held at 3 p.m. at Harry Hill Park. Cost is $10 adults and $5 for kids.  Food, drinks, speeches and activities for kids to include a bouncy.

Lego Club at the Henry County Library at 1 p.m.

Sunday, September 12

James Family reunion will be held at Harry Hill Park beginning at noon. Please bring a dish, chair and any old pictures to share.

The Ricketts family reunion will be held at Trimble County Park, Hwy 421 Bedford. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

The Louden Family Reunion will be held at Lake Jericho’s First Pavilion at 1 p.m. For more information contact Linda Mcclellan at (5020 572-6875.

The Ivers reunion will be held at the Stratton Center in Shelbyville. Please bring a dish.

Story time at Henry County Library at 10 a.m.

Henry Christian Church will have a “Sing Along Night” beginning at 7 p.m. Please participate with your special talents.

Monday, September 13

Grace Fellowship of LaGrange will hold midweek services at 6:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn meeting room. These services will be held every Tuesday.

Saturday, September 18

The Henry County High School 35 year reunion has been relocated to the commons area at the Henry County Middle School.
