District 4 Shooting Sports Competition results

The Henry County Smart Shooters took top placing in the recent District 4 Shooting Sports Competition.

The two weekend event is one of the largest in the state. 

The following are the results:  Trap ages 9-11 – Dylan Rankin placed second and Jacob Wilson placed third. 

Henry County won the 1st Place team award with Dylan Rankin, Jacob Wilson, Logan Yount, Gavin Robinson, and Jacob Bowen. 

In Recurve Archery  in the 9-11 age group Matthew Sharp placed 1st.

  In Bowhunter Archery in the 9-11 age group Dylan Rankin placed 3rd. 

Henry County had the 1st place team with Dylan Rankin, Hayley Hosey, Logan Yount, and Jayson Murphy. 

In Target Archery in the 9-11 age groups Jayson Murphy placed 2nd individually. 

Henry County had the 1st place team with Jayson Murphy, Dylan Rankin, Hayley Hosey, and Jacob Wilson. 

In the Trap age group 12-14 Justin Yount placed 1st and Blake Jones placed 3rd. 

Henry County had the 2nd place team with Justin Yount, Blake Jones, Clayton Perry, Colt McGuire, and Matthew Sharp. 

In Bowhunter Archery age 12-14 Henry County had the second place team with Justin Yount, Devin Hagan, Colt McGuire, and Jared Yount. 

In Target Archery 12-14 age group Justin Yount placed 1st and was also the Overall High Point Winner of the day and Blake Jones placed 3rd individually.

  Henry County had the 1st place team with Justin Yount Devin Hagan, Blake Jones, and Jared Yount.

In the Trap age group 15-18 Jacob Yount placed 1st in the individual.

 Henry County also had the 1st place team with Jacob Yount, Jordan Campbell, Garrett Black, James Pollard, and Michael Murphy. 

In the Bowhunter Archery age group 15-18 Connor Toole won 1st place individual. 

Henry County had the first place team with Connor Toole, Jordan Campbell, Jacob Yount, and Michael Murphy.

 In Target Archery 15-18 age group Connor Toole placed 2nd and Jacob Yount placed 3rd individually. 

The Henry County Team took 1st place with Connor Toole, Michael Murphy, Jordan Campbell, and Jacob Yount.

Congratulations to all that this club has accomplished this year.  The club members and coaches have worked so hard and it is really paying off.
