EHS girls no match for Anderson

The Eminence Lady Warriors had just three players score points, went through long stretches with no scoring output and committed 39 costly turnovers, adding up to a 68-12 loss to Anderson County in the opening round of the 30th District tournament last Tuesday night.

It ended the basketball season for the Lady Warriors with a 2-27 record, while Anderson improved to 16-8, went on to beat Shelby County for the district title on Friday night and advanced to the 8th Region tournament this week. Shelby hosted the district tournament this year.
