EHS Students of the Month

Senior Adam Case was chosen for all his hard work. Teachers claim he has turned his academics around and is very motivated to go to college now.  Even students recognize the positive change in him and how dedicated he is to bettering himself.  He helped with Friends of Michael Organization this year. Adam is a member of the EHS Band, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Eminence Baptist Youth Group, EHS Pep Club, cross country, and EHS Track Team.  He wants to improve his cross country times, so he trains tirelessly every day in all weather. He has also been accepted to Union College where he plans to become a physical education teacher. Junior Brandon Mitchell is a top student but is also always willing to help other students. He is a leader for his class in academics as well as the many sports and activities in which he participates.  He is a member of the EHS Academic Team, Senior Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Henry Christian youth group.  He plays varsity baseball, basketball and football for the school.  He also serves as a PSI teen leader.  He plans to attend UL or UK to major in Sports Medicine. Sophomore Emily Bryant was chosen because she works for excellence in her coursework daily and is willing to help others.  She does well in every endeavor. Emily is a member of the Henry County Youth Coalition, the Ag Club, the varsity girls basketball team, and Senior Beta.  She also serves as the sophomore class treasurer and volunteers at New Castle United Methodist as a nursery worker.  She plans to attend possibly Centre or UK. Freshman Faith Stephens was chosen by the teachers for always being on task and being willing to do anything asked.  Faith is a member of the Henry County Youth Coalition and Junior Beta Club.  She is a member of the junior varisty softball team, basketball team and runs on the cross country team.  She has participated in Operation Christmas Child and plans to attend Transylvania University to study pediatrics.
