Eminence resident thankful for holiday help

-A A +A

My name is Jimmy Goodloe and at the start of November, I became sick at home and had to be admitted to the hospital for almost a week. I ended up having to take two months off of work as I was too sick to go back to work.

If not for family and friends, myself, my wife and my son would not have had a Thanksgiving dinner and I want to say from me and my family, thanks for everything they did for us.

Also, for Christmas, I would like to say thanks to all the people who helped my son have a very merry Christmas. Again, I say thanks to family and friends. Also, I want to say thanks to the Family Resource Center, my son’s school, my church and also the people that I work with at Shelbyville Chrysler who went way out of their way to really help us. A special thank you to Jack Brown, owner of Shelbyville Chrysler, Debbie Hartford you are my son’s angel. It goes without saying how much my family appreciates all the help that this community gave us. It really did humble me to the point that at times it was very emotional. But I should have realized where I’m living and that is Henry County and Eminence, one of the most caring and giving places to live. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Thanks again, and we love each and everyone one of you. God bless you.
