Eminence's head coach, Dewayne Douglas, continues to look toward Lady Warriors' promising future

The Eminence softball team took a 12-2 loss at Carroll County last Tuesday night, which dropped the Lady Warriors to 1-9 on the season with just two weeks remaining until the 30th District tournament.

But the future is continuing to look promising as the freshman team, composed of middle school and freshman players, almost defeated Trimble County Thursday. The younger Lady Warriors were in front  8-6 heading into the final inning before they took a slim 9-8 loss. It showed Eminence what the future could hold.
