Etta Golden, 98

Etta Ree Golden, age 98 of Russell Springs, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late John and Zoda (Thomas) Fritz.

She is survived by one daughter, Sara Crowe, Campbellsburg, and  one son, Robert Golden, Louisville.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Feb. 13, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. The Rev. Shawn Golden, pastor of Campbellsburg Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation was held from 2 to 6 p.m.Sunday, Feb. 12, at the funeral home.
