The family of Connie Joelene Landers, who passed away in January at the age of 32, would like to thank the overwhelming support given to them from the community during this difficult time.
The unexpected passing has been tough on everyone who knew Joelene, but the pain during the last two months has been softened because of the generosity of countless people. Hundreds said their goodbyes to Joelene at Pleasureville Methodist Church, where she was a member, and many more turned out at a Chili Dinner/Auction a month later, and at a recent cornhole benefit tournament at Shelby County High School to help support Jesse and his three children.
The family is grateful to all those who have offered their condolences, thoughts and prayers. A special thanks to the emergency services personnel, and to the staff at Eastern Elementary School, where Andrew, Kaya and Jack attend. The family continues to be thankful for the time they had with Joelene and the support received since her passing. There is still a long road ahead but on behalf of the entire family, thank you! Joelene has left us, for now, but she will never be forgotten.
Jesse, Andrew, Kaya,
Jack and family
