Farmer, Foree named HCHS Athletes of the Year

During last Thursday’s Henry County High School Awards Night, seniors Larry Farmer and Kaitlyn Foree were named the top athletes during the 2007-08 school year. Farmer won the Ross Wallace Outstanding Male Athlete for the second consecutive year, while Foree won the Bev Parrish Outstanding Female Athlete for the first time.

Athletes were nominated by Athletics Director Todd Gilley and varsity coaches, then selected by a committee composed of Gilley, Principal Graham Weid, head coaches and counselors.
