Mike and Cathy Nichols Francisco of Pikeville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Sydney, to Jesse Marvin Parrish, son of M. Lynn and Jessica Johnson Parrish, also of Pikeville.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Pikeville High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky in 2009. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. In 2010, Anne Sydney completed a dietetic internship at Marshall University Graduate College and became a registered dietitian. Currently, she is a second year physician assistant student at the University of Kentucky and will complete the program in June 2013 with a master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
She is the granddaughter of Vinetta Francisco of Pikeville, formerly of Ashcamp, and the late Alvin Lee Francisco, also of Ashcamp, and the late E.H. Nichols Jr., and Anne Coates Nichols of Regina.
The future groom also is a 2005 graduate of Pikeville High School. In 2009, Jesse graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Jesse received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2012. Currently, Jesse is an associate in the Lexington office of Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP where he practices environmental and natural resources law. He is the grandson of Woodrow and Wilma Beverly Parrish of Pikeville, formerly of Lockport, and Lonny R. (Buddy) Johnson and the late Clara Lee Sanders Johnson of Pikeville.
A June 29, 2013, wedding is planned in Pikeville.
