According to a new federal formula for determining graduation rates, Henry County’s two school districts are on both sides of the state average.
Under the formula, whose results are called the Averaged Freshman Graduation Rates used for the first time for the 2009- 2010 school year, all members of the class of 2010 who entered Eminence High School as fresh- men in 2006 graduated within four years. Henry County High School’s class of 2010 graduated almost 75 percent of its original freshmen. The state average for the class of 2010 was a 76.68 percent graduation rate.
