Laurie Beth Grigsby and William Harold (B.J.) Clark Jr of Frankfort were united in marriage at 1 p.m., Sept. 10, 2011.
The wedding was held at Pleasureville Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Eastman officiating the ceremony. Music was “Tangled Up in You” by Aaron Lewis and “Only You Can Love me this Way” by Keith Urban.
The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Doris Grigsby and Ricky and Ellen Truman Rynes, all of Eminence. She was given in marriage by her father, Bobby. She wore a strapless, princess silhouette cut gown with a waisted sash made of ivory satin and embellished with pearls, diamonds and silver beadery. The gown had a cathedral train with satin covered buttons trailing the full length of the gown’s backside. A tiara was worn in place of a veil.
The bouquet was made of marine blue and ivory roses with pearls and ribbons.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Henry County High School and is currently employed with Multi Purpose Community Action Agency in home health.
The maid of honor was Sherry Lynn Hardin of Port Royal. Bridesmaids were Ashley Crawford, daughter of the bride; Shelby Crawford, daughter of the bride; Brittany Crawford, daughter of the bride; Cassie Metts, daughter of the bride; and Tori Clark, daughter of the groom. The bridesmaids wore Marine blue, full length gowns made of dutchess satin and chiffon with beaded empire.
The groom is the son of William (Bud) and Bonnie Clark of New Castle and Tom and Barbara Flack of Crestwood. Best man was Rob Carney of Frankfort. Groomsmen were Shane Holt, Versailles; Stephen Grigsby, brother of the bride; Tony Grigsby, brother of the bride; Hunter Clark, son of the groom; and Rob Young, Lawrenceburg.
He is 1990 graduate of Henry County High School and was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1995 and the Navy Seabees in 2005. He is employed with the Frankfort Plant Board as a field safety officer.
After a honeymoon trip to Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge, the couple will live in Frankfort.
