Wednesday, July 23

Karate classes will be held at the Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Children’s Story and Craft hour every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pleasureville Christian Church.

Thursday, July 24

TOPS 298 will meet at Orville Baptist Church. Weigh in 4:30 p.m. and meeting at 5 p.m. New members welcome.

Friday, July 25

Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meet at 8 p.m. at the Eminence Baptist Church. The group will also meet Sunday, July 27 at 7 p.m. at Henry County Library and Tuesday, July 29 at 8 p.m. at Eminence Methodist Church. All of these meetings are non-smoking.

A New Direction in Life, a Christian support group for alcohol/drugs or other addictions will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eminence.

The KY Cowboy Church will hold praise and worship services every Friday at 7 p.m. For more information Call (502) 845-7897.

A two-day Vacation Bible School will be held at Pleasureville Christian Church with the theme: “Beach Party — Surfin through the Scriptures.” On the 25th supper will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and VBS from 6 to 8 p.m. On Saturday, the 26th, VBS will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. with a program at 11:30 a.m and lunch beginning at noon. Saturday, July 26

AA meeting at 8 p.m. at the Pleasureville City Hall building. These meetings will be non smoking.

Sunday, July 27

Evening services will now be offered at First Presbyterian Church in Eminence. Dress Casual for worship from 6 to 7 p.m.

A dedication ceremony for the new Campbellsburg United Methodist Church building will be held at 8043 Main Street, Campbellsburg at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Smithfield Christian Church will host an ice cream social at 2 p.m. followed by a performance by Ye Merrie Melodious Dulcimers.

Monday, July 28

A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting will be held on Mondays at 11 a.m. at New Castle Christian Church. Please enter through the green door.

Tuesday, July 29

The Alateen “Together We Can Make It” group will meet at 8 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Eminence.

Adult Education and GED classes offered at the Wendy Hills Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 845-0307.

The KY Cowboy Church will be holding Bible study every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Grubridge Community Church.

Community Blood Drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, Campbellsburg.

Sunday, August 3

Revival will be held at Elmburg Baptist Church beginning with morning worship service at 11 a.m. Potluck meal will immediately follow. Revival services will be held nightly through Wednesday, August 6 at 7 p.m. with special music each night. Brother Jerry Anderson, pastor of Pleasureville Baptist Church, will be the evangelist.

HCMS Site-Based District meeting will be held at 4 p.m. at the HCMS Conference room.
