John Allgeier: A family man, a community man and a great person. While a magistrate, he was an active member of the Kentucky Magistrates and Commissioners Association and made many contributions to it. He believed in the purpose of the association and was always willing to help it along.

John attended many of the association meetings where he and Louise made friends from all across this state. He always had a smile and a few good words for you.  John made such an unforgettable impression; he will stay in your mind forever.  He never failed to look at the good in everybody and always expressed it.

One could tell that John Allgeier was a leader of the community because he was so proud of it. Henry County was John’s “Gods Country” and he was sure that the rest of the State should be looking to them.

I know John’s family is very proud of him. Henry County lost one of its greats.
