The Wildcats wanted so badly to make history last week. They grunted, clawed and chewed. And in in the end, Anderson County proved to be a roadblock too big, which prevented the Wildcats from becoming the first HC baseball team to wear the regional crown.

In this storyline, which ended on Henry County’s baseball field last Thursday night with an Anderson 11-3 victory, it wasn’t meant to be for the Cats.
