I just found out Monday that the Henry County History Center has lost a great resource.
The great Hammer Smith has resigned from his position at the History Center.
Yes, the Hammer Smith who received the Patrick Henry Award just this past summer. Yes, the Hammer Smith who was recognized by everyone from the judge-executive to one of my great writing heroes Byron Crawford.
I can’t tell you what happened, but I do intend to find out and inform everyone about what happens next to the Henry County History Center.
