Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary unemployment rate fell to 8.3 percent in April 2012 from a revised 8.6 percent in March 2012, making it the lowest unemployment rate in the state since November 2008, according to the Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
