KY-22 accident sends two to hospitals

A two vehicle accident on KY-22 last week sent a New Castle man to University of Louisville hospital and a Louisville woman to Baptist Northeast.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Andrew Williams of Westport was travelling west on KY-22 when Marsha Hilgeford of Louisville pulled out of a driveway and onto KY-22 and into the path of Williams’ SUV.

KSP’s Seth Willis said that according to reports, Williams attempted to turn left to avoid Hilgeford’s vehicle, and was braking prior to impact, before T-boning Hilgeford’s vehicle.
