The Kentucky Storm football team has struggled the last two weeks as work schedules and other commitments have kept the team at less than full strength.
On July 27 the Storm traveled to Radcliffe to take on the Kentucky Wolverines and fell 34-12.
“We had no depth. We had several players missing and a lot of smaller players had to fill in on the line,” coach Richard Smith said.
“Timmy Gay got a cheap shot that put him out of the game in the second quarter. The defender who committed the penalty was kicked out, but losing Timmy hurt us more.
