Setters, Stanley lead Lady Cats to win

By Greg Woods

Sitting on a bus for more than an hour didn’t seem to help the Henry County Lady Cats get off to a great start at Williamstown on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

After six minutes, the Lady Cats were down 9-5, giving up easy baskets. Head Coach Todd Gilley didn’t like the slow start and wasn’t buying a long bus ride as an excuse. So he called a timeout.

After the timeout, the Lady Cats turned up the heat and went on an 18-2 run, paving the way for a 43-28 win.
