A letter of thanks

-A A +A

The City of Eminence, along with the Eminence festival board members Leo Mason, Polly Troxell and Lee Ann Armstrong, would like to thank those who participated in the Eminence Day parade and festivities. The grand marshals were Martha Tarry Simpson and William Mason. We would also like to thank the many vendors — without you there would be no Eminence Day. Thank you to the Eminence Independent School system for the use of school facilities, and to Scribers Station, who always shares their tent. Thanks to the EHS students and especially the class of 2014 who arrived at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday to finish the cleanup process. Thanks to the volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to make this day a success, Mary Scriber, Missy, Anna, and Samantha Thompson. We also must not forget our police officers, fire department, maintenance and all City Hall staff members who prepare months in advance to make this a safe and enjoyable day! We thank you for your commitment and dedication.

We look forward to next year’s Eminence Day, scheduled for Aug. 9, 2014. See you there!

E. Lee Ann Armstrong
