Christmas in August poker run a success
Despite the weather, approximately 80 bikes took to the road Aug. 17 for the Christmas in August Poker Run, which helps raise money to purchase Christmas gifts for children.
Despite the wet conditions the group of riders faired well with the weather and was able to complete the 106-mile route, during which the first stop was Scriber’s Station in Eminence.
Even though the sun didn’t shine, the bikers did. The entire event raised $4,474.50, which is a blessing.
