President Reagan said “You and I have a rendezvous with destiny… If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.” It is important that we are educated and make informed decisions when we step into the voting booth.
Each year the Henry County Republican Party holds it’s annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner, and invites Government officials, and candidates to speak and meet with area voters.
The Henry County Republican Party would like to thank Agriculture Commissioner James Comer, 4th Congressional Candidates: Marcus Carey, Alecia Webb-Edgington, Thomas Massie, Gary Moore, Brian Oerther, Gary Moore, Walt Schumm, and Tom Wurtz; Kentucky State Representative for the 47th district candidates: Charity Wolf-Edmonston, and T. K Broecker; and Commonwealth’s Attorney candidates: Courtney T. Baxter and John Shaughnessy, for joining us and being a part of our Lincoln-Reagan Dinner. To have all these candidates in Henry County together, so that voters can meet them, was an important opportunity.
We would also like to thank those who sponsored the event, those who donated Silent Auction items, and to all who attended this wonderful evening, Saturday, April 28.
This year’s Lincoln-Reagan Dinner was a tremendous success. We broke our attendance and fund raising records. I would like to personally thank all who attended for coming out, and supporting the Henry County GOP!
